To satisfy the new constraints of the digital UV technology MACtac launches a 80 µm matt clear vinyl film to protect UV printed images.

The new IMAGin LUV 3898 protective film offers a strong adhesion even on rough UV prints and gives them an attractive and uniform finish. It even hides the imperfections of the prints surface finish.
IMAGin LUV 3898 is a versatile construction for not only flatbed UV printed boards but also soft media used to print graphics with solvent or eco-solvent based inks.

Lab and field tests have demonstrated that IMAGin LUV 3898 surpasses most competitive products for a.o. POS signs, building signage and sandwich boards thanks to its higher adhesive level and wet-out properties.
A two year warranty for outdoor exposure is offered for this UV colour fading retardant film which also enhances the colours and glossiness of the UV prints.

IMAGin 3898 has been used recently in the impressive exhibition of digital prints of the famous S. Van Fleteren photographer in Gent (Belgium). This exhibition was attended by 60.000 visitors.
