MACtac is proud to announce that it has won the Prize for Sustainable Development awarded by VISCOM- SIGNAL'ETIQ France.
The grand Prize trophy was presented to MACtac Europe during the VISCOM fair in Paris on September 21st.
The jury has appreciated the new environmentally Friendly IMAGin and Greenscreen printing media for digital and screen printing as well as the "green" packaging made of homogeneous materials and easy to re-use or recycle in compliance with the 94/62/EC European Directive.
The Prize also rewards MACtac's efforts to reduce the energy consumption at the Belgian plant. The use of energy has been reduced by 14% while the use of gas has been reduced by 25% and that of water by 39% in five years.
